Mark IV power plant / data center

Urged the council to accept the Mark IV power plant offer, saying if the city rejects it the project will simply move a mile away to Lyon, Churchill, or Washoe County and Fernley would get all the downsides with none of the benefits. Also shared suicide prevention resources as an American Legion representative.

A licensed geologist with 37 years of environmental experience said he reviewed the project's reports and found little to disagree with, calling noise levels negligible at 2.5 miles and urging the council to approve the project to help fix the city's infrastructure.
